20th Annual Ooky Spooky 5k on October 26, 2024
It's almost Ooky Spooky time! This fun 5k race challenges runners to get creative with their costumes and enjoy a course that goes through the RPS campus, on the Burlington Bike Path, and through North Beach. This is our 20th year hosting this spooky event to raise funds for COTS, and we are dedicated to supporting their mission to help people in our community experiencing homelessness!
Sign-in begins at 8:30 a.m., and the race kicks off at 9:30 a.m. Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to participate! There is a suggested donation of $15 for adults and $5 for children under 13.
We will award prizes for the best costumes and best times, and each runner will be entered in a raffle for more prizes! You could win a gift card from a local business, Rock Point Maple Syrup, Honey, and more! Snacks and water will be provided for participants.
In honor of our 20th Ooky Spooky, we have an additional way to support COTS this year! COTS is asking for NEW winter boots for people in need. If you or a loved one wants to support COTS and sponsor a runner, please purchase a pair from this Wish List and make a note that the boots are a sponsorship for an Ooky Spooky Runner!
Each runner needs to complete a waiver before participating in the race. You can complete it before the race and email it to mhuddle@rockpoint.org, or we will have it available on the morning of the event.
