Burlington Ensemble concert to benefit Rock Point School "beyond beethoven" First Baptist Church (Burlington, Vermont) Feb 8, 7:00pm concert $10 tickets Burlington Ensemble and Rock Point School are continuing their collaboration with this upcoming installment in BE's "90/10" series. In this series the ensemble performs classical music for contemporary audiences, with 90% of the proceeds going to a designated non-profit organization. We've been grateful to be a beneficiary of this series in the past, and we're excited to do it again.

It's almost time for the next monthly installment of our "RPS Runs Because We CAN" series: a group run at the school where runners are encouraged to bring a can of food for the food shelf.

This year we continued our annual holiday traditions of a multicultural service followed by dinner and a "Secret Santa" gift exchange.

The holiday season is here and it is part of our Rock Point traditions to think of those who may not enjoy the plentiful bounty that we are so lucky to have. This year, we've come up with a new way to lend a helping hand: a fun run at the school where runners are are encouraged to bring a can of food for the food shelf. That's where we got the name – Rock Point School Runs Because We CAN :-) It looks to be a good time for all, and for a good cause. What's more, we're hoping to host these runs on a monthly basis to provide a continuous stream of donations to the food shelf. Watch this space for the announcement of next month's run. This Saturday's run will be a chance to honor the Solstice to boot! Let's all meet at 9:00 a.m. at the school for a 3, 5, or 10 mile run. See you there!
