Maple Run 5k March 25, 2023

Join us on March 25, 2023, for a fun 5k race starting at Rock Point School to celebrate maple sugaring season! The 5k racecourse will go through the Rock Point Property next to our sugarbush and on the Burlington Bike Path.

• Registration opens at 9:30 a.m. on the porch at Rock Point School
• Race begins at 10:00 a.m.
• Prizes, snacks, and sugarhouse tours start around 10:40 a.m. or when all racers have crossed the finish line!

After the race, we will give out prizes for the winners, and all runners will be entered into a raffle for additional maple-ish prizes! We will also have post-run maple snacks for everyone.

Depending on the weather, our sugarhouse will also be open, and the sap will be boiling. Attendees can have the opportunity to check out our sugaring operation and ask questions about the process.

Race entry fees are $15 per runner, $5 for children under 13. This year, we have decided to donate all proceeds from the race to World Central Kitchen to help with their disaster relief efforts in Turkey.

Each runner needs to complete a waiver before participating in the race. You can complete it before the race and email it to mhuddle@rockpoint.org, or we will have them available on the morning of the event. 

Parking is available on Institute Road before you pull into Rock Point, as well as in a few lots on the RPS property.
