Wow! We are so grateful to our community for so generously donating to the school on Giving Tuesday, the global day of giving. We set an ambitious fundraising goal of $27,000.00 for the day and surpassed that goal raising $28,340.00 with the help of $10,000.00 of matching funds donated by an anonymous alum. These donations will go directly to our Tomorrow Fund, ensuring that Rock Point School can continue to serve students and families for years to come.
The best part of the day was sharing photos from RPS history on social media and hearing from so many alumni, families, and former staff members about what Rock Point means to them. Here are a few of the comments we heard from our community about why they chose to donate to Rock Point:

I was just telling the story last week about how he drove me to a writers conference, and we spent a few hours in the car with him telling me stories and sharing his wisdom. Thank you so much to everyone who donated on Giving Tuesday and all those who shared stories and social media comments. Our community is mighty, and on Giving Tuesday, we felt a little bit closer, despite the distance we all have right now.
